Tiger Woods Masters Win | 2005 Tournament Highlights
The 69th edition of the Masters Tournament at Augusta National Golf Club was won for the 4th time by Tiger Woods with a -12 under par after a sudden-death playoff with Chris Dimarco. Tiger had previously won at the Masters in 1997, 2001 and 2002. The playoff happened for the first time at Augusta on hole 18 where Dimarco made par and Tiger sank a 15-foot putt for the birdie and the win. Luke Donald and Retief Goosen tied for 3rd at -5 under par. This was the last Masters appearance for Tommy Aaron, Billy Casper and six-time winner Jack Nicklaus.
