Jason Day Players Win | 2016 Tournament Highlights

The 43rd edition of the Players Championship at TPC Sawgrass was won by Jason Day with a -15 under par. Day was at the top of the leaderboard at the end of every round of this tournament, turning in day scores of 63, 66, 73 and 71. In rounds 2-4 Day finished with a 4-stroke lead. Kevin Chappell finished in 2nd place overall with a -11. 144 players entered this tournament, and it was cut down to 76 after Round 2. Notably defending champion Rickie Fowler missed the 36-hole cut by a single stroke.
