The 93rd edition of the PGA Championship was held for the third time at the Atlanta Athletic Club in Johns Creek, Georgia and was won by Keegan Bradley with a -8 under par, after a 3-hole playoff with Jason Dufner that was played on holes 16, 17 and 18. Bradley birdied hole 16 to Dufner's par, and that proved to the difference in the playoff as they both made par on the final two holes. Bradley became the first male golfer to ever win his first major debut since Ben Curtis in 2003, and also was the first golfer to win a major using a long belly putter. Anders Hansen came in 3rd with a -7 overall.
