The final round of the 2019 Players Championship began with Jon Rahm leading by one stroke at -15, with Tommy Fleetwood and Rory McIIroy trailing. The leaderboard was quickly shaken up though as Rahm began to falter, shooting 3 bogeys on his first 4 holes. The final round turned into a race between Rory, Jim Furyk, Eddie Pepperell and Jhonattan Vegas. Furyk put up a valiant effort with 67 on the day but it was Rory's 6 birdies on the day that secured him the one stroke victory. Rory finished the final round with a score of 70 and an overall tally of -16. Of note, Vegas drained the longest putt on hole 17 in tournament history, a 70-footer.
